Vacation in Montana!

Boy are we blessed.  Brad's college friend Tom invited us to a dream lake house in Montana on Flathead Lake.  One of the owners of Tom's company invited him and said he was free to invite us!  Wow!  What a place!  We arrived yesterday to Darrell (the owner of the house) meeting us at the airport with two large suburbans for us to drive during the week.  Darrell flew back to Dallas today.  The house is amazing and is directly on the lake.  We have the use of a boat, two jet skis and a canoe.  The house sleeps around 25 people and is stunning.  We are so thankful for this awesome adventure!

Cupcake wars 2!

Corrin and I hosted our 2nd Cupcake War at my house!!!! I made crab cupcakes, Corrin made cheesecake ones, Will did minecraft, Isabella did watermelon ones, Sophia did Minnie Mouse ones, my neighbor Carrie did snow cone ones.  Diana, Mellisa, and Jessica also participated.  The kids had lots of fun!!! Carrie one first place:)

Weekend in Bulevedere, Tx

Today's post is a guest blogger post from our daughter, Abbey 

    Hi, my name is Abbey and I'm a guest blogger! This weekend we had a lot of fun! We rented a big house, and it was really fun. My favorite part about the house was that it had an amazing swimming pool! We went swimming a lot! 

    I also had lots of fun at the places we went. We went to this store and I bought crickets there! I was really scared to taste them but then I did, and they were surprisingly really good! Another fun thing we did was we went to the natural bridge wildlife ranch and it was a lot of fun! We drove by many different exotic animals and a bunch of them I hadn't seen before. We did many more fun things but those were some of my favorites!

    Whenever we got back home we celebrated Father's Day. We ate fajitas for dinner and I made chocolate peanut  butter cupcakes with chocolate icing and they were delicious! We had a great day! 

Summer time fun!!!!

I brought the kids to the Towne Lake splash pad where several moms and their kids were meeting.  Charlotte had a blast.  Paige has been working everyday as a lifeguard (so proud of her).  Today I took Will and his friend for pizza and Dave and Busters for games.  The boys had a blast.  Abbey and Allison are at their grandmothers this week for a camp.  We get them tomorrow.
