My hubby

God seriously could not have sent me a better husband and dad for the kids. He works so hard. I am conquering projects around the house that Brad cant get to because he works so hard. I organized our closet and garage. We finally can park two cars!!!!!!!! I then tried the bows on that my neighbor made for Charlotte.

Visiting daddy at work

I took Charlotte to Brad's work because his coworker Linda asked me to. Brad and I then went to lunch. Charlotte was so cute for his coworkers and smiled many times. I then went to Will's curriculum night at school.

Fall spirit

I think that I have the fall spirit even though it is one hundred degrees here. I spent the first half of the day cleaning and then decided to buy a new rug. With Charlotte learning to crawl, I wanted a new one. I had the other one for about ten years and the dogs had lots of accidents on it. We steamed cleaned it but we needed a new fresh one. I also bought Lilly's Halloween costume!

MOPS

Today was the very first day that I truly felt like a stay at home mom. I was sitting at a table doing crafts at mops ( mothers of preschoolers) and I though to myself " I cannot believe that I am not in a classroom teaching." It was your best feeling ever. I am going to try and enjoy each day that I am home with Charlotte. I also will be more present with the other kids because before I had to do tons of things plus with full time which included lots of Sundays. The ladies at mops were super nice and I know that I am going to make lots of new friendships. Charlotte did great in the daycare.

Charlotte is two months!

At two months, Charlotte is a very happy and good baby. She

1) loves it when people make funny faces and smiles
2) is completely addicted to the pacifier ( this weekend we had an almost emergency when our only pacifier was lost while Brad was holding Charlotte in the Baylor bookstore. We didn't pack another one because it was attached to her clothes. We freaked out.. Lol. Abbey ended saving the day and finding it. But this was a good lesson. Always have several pacifiers!!!
3) sleeps through the night sometimes; most of the time, though, she goes to bed around 9 pm and wakes up at 4 am for a feeding and will then sleep until 8 am
4) likes to imitate sounds you make
5) likes her rainforest play mat and swing but only in short intervals
6) loves loves loves to be held
7) loves her brother and sisters
8) is starting to drool more
9) Ioves for people to hold her head back
(For fun)
10) eats about 4oz of breast milk or formula every four hours (I am so proud that I have lasted this long!)
11) is 22 inches (34%)
12) weighs 10.8 oz (33%)

She is just a super sweet baby. We are so lucky!

Worst idea ever

Every year Brad loves to take the kids to one Baylor game and one UL game. We chose a September game. When we bought the tickets we had no idea that it would be 100 degrees. We met Brad's friend BK for lunch at a quirky pizza place called Pappa Rollos. It had many secret doors and an arcade the kids loved. We then headed to the game. I knew walking from the car to the stadium that there was no way Charlotte could be there. Brad quickly also agreed. We decided that I would take her to the George's tent. I brought her there and just took her burp cloth and soaked it in ice cold water and just kept her cool. This really nice woman made her husband go to the value village and get a small fan. It was sooo sweet. The kids and Brad made it a little over a quarter. We went back to the hotel to regroup. We stated at the Hilton Homewood Suites. It was very nice. It had a full size kitchen, two queen beds, and a couch bed. We will definitely stay there again!
